iPhone production cuts are real, says another analyst (Exclusive to iPhoneWorld.ca)

Just two days ago we wrote that according to FBR's analyst Craig Berger Apple is slashing production of the iPhone 3G.

Today another analyst echoed this opinion: according to Maynard Um, an analyst with UBS, "iPhone production and the associated supply chain may be experiencing some incremental weakness due to concerns about end demand."

Mr Um believes that Apple will produce around 4 million iPhones in Q4 2008.

And here's a thought, just a silly little thought What if Apple is actually getting ready to introduce a new generation of iPhones early next year, thus slashing production of the current generation?
