LinkedIn Goes Mobile, Including iPhone

LinkedIn, a social networking site aimed at keeping in touch with business associates and friends, is now available for anyone who already owns a LinkedIn account, through its mobile website. Currently, the site is in beta.

This sudden move towards the mobile industry was brought on by several thousand iPhone users saying they use the site already, but utilizing the PC version, which works much slower. Now, the site is available as a beta for those wanting to try it out, with a final release planned for Spring 2008.

Additionally, besides being available in several languages like German and French, the new website will also support the Blackberry, as well as other portable devices.
